Plain-language terms for using Things I Believe.

Your account

You're responsible for what you post and for keeping your password safe. One account per person. You must be old enough to consent to data processing where you live.

What you publish

You keep ownership of everything you write. By marking a belief public you're granting us permission to display it on the site — nothing more, and only for as long as it stays public.

Behaviour

Disagreement is the point of this site. Harassment isn't. Don't post content that targets individuals, breaks the law, or is designed to impersonate someone else. Accounts doing that can be removed.

No warranty

The service is provided as is. We aim to keep your data safe and available, but you should export anything you'd be upset to lose. We can change or discontinue features.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from settings, and it takes your data with it.
